Job Description:

Responsibilities include gathering requirements for HFM implementations, designing HFM applications, building applications, and training end users. Responsibilities also include project management, testing, and documentation. You will be leading client personnel and other Finit consultants on the implementation of these systems. You will be primarily responsible for the overall design of the systems as well as the project planning and general success of the implementations. Candidates must be at an advanced level in all major elements of HFM, including Metadata, Rules, Smartview, Financial Reporting, Shared Services, and all Workspace items. An in-depth knowledge of HFM’s dimensionality and core functionality, as well as the ability to effectively communicate and apply that knowledge within an implementation, are requirements.

This is a perfect position for a candidate who is looking to apply and enhance their HFM expertise while working to extend that expertise into developing areas of focus, including advanced functionality within Fusion Edition (Release 11), XBRL capabilities using HFM, and IFRS considerations for HFM applications. This person will also have the opportunity to further develop their project management skills by leading large teams of finance and IT resources through complex system implementations.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Candidates with a related Finance or IT degree and strong accounting skills will also be considered.
• CPA, MBA, MCSE, MCDBA, MCSD or other relevant higher education (a plus.)
• 3+ years’ experience with HFM, which must include design, implementation, and project management experience. Consulting experience is a strong plus. Candidates must have advanced skills in:
  • Metadata
  • Rules
  • Smartview
  • Financial Reporting
  • Shared Services
  • All Workspace items
• Strong experience in accounting and finance, including knowledge of:
  • The monthly and quarterly close process
  • SEC external reporting requirements
  • Sarbanes Oxley controls
  • XBRL
  • IFRS
• Strong project management skills. Candidates must have experience managing resources, timelines and scope during an implementation as well as coordinating team status and project steering committee meetings.
• Very strong verbal and written communication skills. Candidates must be capable of effectively interacting with clients at executive levels.
• Willingness and passion to expand current knowledgebase and develop new skills.
• Ability to excel in a demanding, change-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 4 days per week (total expected travel is 80%)
