Job Description:

Finit Solutions, recognized in 2009 as one of the 100 fastest growing private companies in greater Philadelphia, is seeking candidates with strong backgrounds in SQL and Visual Basic to participate in the design and implementation of Oracle Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management (FDM) solutions.

Responsibilities include designing and building FDM applications as well as data integration, documentation and knowledge transfer to clients. You will be interfacing onsite directly with clients and working with client personnel and other Finit consultants on the implementation of these systems. You will be helping clients implement Oracle Hyperion integration tools (Financial Data Quality Management (FDM), Data Integration Management (DIM), and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), etc) with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Essbase, and Planning.

Job Requirements:

• Education / Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in an IT-related field of study. Candidates with a Finance or Accounting degree but very strong IT skills will be considered.
  • 4-8 years experience preferred.
• Technical
  • Strong Fundamental knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), especially writing queries for reporting (Crystal Reports, Business Objects, Active Reports, MS Access, etc.)
  • Strong background with Visual Basic, especially VBScript and VBA. Creating complex Excel macros a benefit.
  • Working understanding of Relational Database Management Systems, especially Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle, including Data Types, Table Structures, Views, Indexes, etc.
  • General understanding of web application technology. Any JavaScript or other web programming languages are a plus.
  • Strong to expert knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
  • Broad understanding of Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow, etc.)
  • Prior knowledge with any ETL tool, especially Informatica or Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) a plus.
  • Any prior knowledge with Oracle/Hyperion products including FDM/Upstream, HFM, Enterprise, Essbase, Planning, DIM, ODI a plus.
• General
  • Friendly and personable attitude; absence of ego or condescension.
  • Passion to expand current knowledgebase and learn new skills.
  • Ability to excel in a demanding, change-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Organized, thorough, detail-oriented.
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Consulting experience a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 4 days per week (total expected travel is 80%).
