Hyperion Financial Management Lead Consultant

Job Description:

Finit Solutions, recognized in 2009 and 2010 as one of the 100 fastest growing private companies in greater Philadelphia, is seeking candidates with very strong backgrounds in Oracle Hyperion Financial Management to lead project scoping, design sessions, and implementations of HFM solutions.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years’ experience implementing HFM and/or acting as an HFM administrator and has a deep understanding of the financial close process and related reporting requirements. The ideal candidate also finds personal satisfaction in continuously developing his or her own knowledge, has an innate curiosity and natural desire to learn, and works well in a team environment through knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Responsibilities include project scoping, requirements gathering, application design, building, and testing, training, and light project management. You will be working with client personnel and other Finit consultants on the implementation of these systems. You will be helping clients implement Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Hyperion BI+ reporting tools, and Oracle Hyperion integration tools (Financial Data Quality Management (FDM), Data Integration Management (DIM), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), etc).

Job Requirements:

Education / Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Candidates with a related Finance or IT degree and strong accounting skills will be considered.
• CPA, MBA or other relevant higher education (a plus.)
• 3+ years’ consulting or administration experience with HFM, which should include application design, build and test experience. Candidates must have strong skills in building and testing:
  • Application Metadata
  • Rules / Calculations
  • Security
  • Data Forms / Grids
  • Smart View
  • Financial Reporting
• Strong experience in accounting and finance, including knowledge of:
  • The monthly and quarterly close process.
  • SEC external reporting requirements.
  • Internal management reporting.
  • Sarbanes Oxley controls.
  • XBRL.
  • IFRS.

General

• Ability to excel in a demanding, change-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Organized, thorough, detail-oriented.
• Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Consulting experience a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 4 days per week
  (total expected travel is 60 - 80%).
